A workers’ compensation attorney in the state of Georgia founded Kids’ Chance, Inc. in 1988. The program helps to provide educational opportunities and scholarships for children of workers who have been seriously injured, permanently disabled, or killed on the job. The families of those individuals lost or injured on the job often face many financial challenges and struggles. The Kids’ Chance Program helps to provide these families with need-based scholarships to help children achieve their educational dreams.

Children’s wishes are granted with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families. Since it was founded in 1979, the American Ambulance Association (AAA) has been representing ambulance services across the United States that provide emergency and nonemergency care and medical transportation services. The Case Management Society of America (CMSA) is a professional association that is geared towards the support and advancement of the case management profession.
