Fee Negotiation Services

Med-X Medical Management works to ensure insurers are paying reasonable charges on ambulance and other transportation claims. Each claim is analyzed against our data for charged amounts and the type and description of services. Med-X’s unique and practical experience allows us to negotiate with the service provider as peers rather then adversaries.

Most negotiation services simply take a percentage discount from billed charges, rather than first determining if the charges are fair. By negotiating up from a reasonable reimbursement level, rather than down from billed charges, Med-X assists payers in achieving a fair and cost-effective settlement.

As part of the negotiation process, the provider signs an agreement acknowledging acceptance of the Med-X’s recommended payment to help prevent balance billing to the member, patient, injured worker or payer.
